FATTORIA LAVACCHIO

Fattoria Lavacchio – Historic winery in the heart of Tuscany

Fattoria Lavacchio is a beautiful, historic winery with deep roots in Tuscan winemaking. Built in the 18th century by the noble Florentine Peruzzi family, the estate has since undergone a fascinating journey through time. In 1840, the property was acquired by the Marchesi Strozzi Sacrati , one of the most influential families in the area, and remained in their possession until 1978, when the current owners from Genoa, the Lottero family , took over the property.

In love with Tuscany and its unique terroir, the Lottero family began an extensive renovation of the property with the aim of raising the quality of the vineyard's production. Since then , Fattoria Lavacchio has been a family-owned farm dedicated to organic wine and olive oil production , where traditional agricultural methods are combined with modern technology.

Today, the entire family is engaged in the operation and growth of the winery. From the youngest, who inspire new wines and their names, to those who actively work at the vineyard, and even those who live far away but always return at every opportunity.

In the middle of the manor's gardens stands a centuries-old Lebanese cedar tree , which bears witness to the vineyard's long history and acts as a powerful symbol of past, present and future. Fattoria Lavacchio Agriturismo is not just a vineyard - it is a place where passion for wine, family and Tuscan tradition merge into an authentic and magical experience.
