La Vecchia in Sali is the name of the vineyard that produces the Sangiovese grapes for their most noble wine. The vines were planted back in 1963 and are cultivated using the traditional Guyot system. Dedicated to the future generation – Luna and Diego – this thoroughbred Sangiovese is created for true Chianti Rufina connoisseurs.
The scent offers an intense aroma of cherry syrup, cocoa and licorice. The taste is long and dry, but with a pleasant warmth. The tannins are flexible, and the wine is rounded off with a good acidity that gives a harmonious finish
