Petershof- Oberemmel Riesling feinherb 2020

Our local wine Oberemmel Riesling feinherb comes from a middle-aged plot of around 40 years on the Oberemmeler Altenberg. This was picked by hand and gently pressed like whole grapes. The must, which was only slightly clarified by sedimentation, was spontaneously fermented for four months in stainless steel tanks. The wine rested on the full lees until shortly before bottling in mid-March 2021. Lots of tropical fruit and tangerine peel on the nose. In the mouth it looks almost dry with a lot of lime and game. Still, the wine is slim and refreshing.
