Montrubi - Gaintius Radical 2019
The vines are planted at an altitude of over 500 meters (1,650 feet). Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks using natural yeast. The wine is extracted by a slow vertical pressing followed by 4 months of aging in 300 liter old French oak barrels on the lees.
Tasting notes Gaintus Radical surprises at first sight. Clear ruby red color, very different from the classic stereotype of "Spanish wine". On the nose, lively aromas of sour cherry and a hint of rustic, while the palate is full of flavors of red fruits and spicy notes. Incredible freshness from acidity and tannins. Extremely complex.
