Montmains” is a relatively robust and full-bodied Chablis. This is explained by the field's high content of clay.
The fragrance opens with notes of ripe fruit, yellow flowers and a little butter. After a while, slightly smoky nuances and other mineral notes appear.
The taste is slightly fatty (for a Chablis) and round, but of course also acidic and clean.

Domaine Gérard Duplessis er et familieejet vinhus beliggende i hjertet af Chablis, hvor fem generationer har dyrket vin siden 1895.

 

I dag drives ejendommen af Lilian Duplessis, som arbejder økologisk og med stor respekt for områdets unikke terroir. Domaine Gérard Duplessis råder over parceller i flere prestigefyldte appellationer, herunder Chablis Premier Cru og Grand Cru. 

 

Vinene er kendt for deres klassiske Chablis-stil med rank syre, udtalt mineralitet og lang lagringspotentiale.
