Doquet - Anthocyanes Rosé 1er Cru Brut

"Anthocyanes" is a phenomenal rosé. Its color is relatively dark. The aroma is fruity and strongly reminiscent of cherries, complemented by fine red berries and slightly spicy and sweet notes.
The taste is both extremely pleasant and creamy, but also fresh, deep and varied. It exudes both sweet berries and more sour/bitter tones, like grape. The light Extra Brut dosage [:Addition of a sweet liquid (typically sugar and a little wine) to adjust the champagne's sweetness.:] makes the wine crisp and gives it a little edge.
This is, quite simply, one of the greatest and most complete rosé champagnes that we have tasted.
It makes an excellent aperitif, which can match both light and stronger snacks. It is also an extremely versatile wine that can be served with fish, shellfish, charcuterie, light meat, foie gras, cheese and even light, fresh desserts on red berries.
