Buisson - Corton Grand Cru Le Rognet 2019

Situated 270 meters up Corton's hill and facing the rising sun, this field is home to 70-year-old vines growing in a lean and well-drained limestone soil. This climate and its demanding terroir make the vines give their best, resulting in a wine with both intensity, finesse and elegance. When young, Rognet-et-Corton exudes spicy fruit notes, blackcurrant and kirsch. With age, the wine develops complex aromas of undergrowth, truffles and leather. This is the hallmark of an excellent red Bourgogne Grand Cru, which perfectly captures the seductive Pinot Noir. This elegant wine should be best enjoyed between 4 and 15 years and is a real pleasure to drink.
