Made up of 40-year-old vines and located 300 meters within Premiers Crus, the property's grounds draw their essence from the most "virile" part of the appellation. Its proximity to Pommard, its neighboring appellation, allows it to benefit from similar soil, highly concentrated in iron oxide, in addition to a source rock specific to Volnay. This Siamese terroir gives birth to wines whose attack until the middle of the palate transcribes the elegance and delicacy of Volnay to better reveal the power and persistence of Pommard. The nose is intense and offers notes of raspberry, flowers and toast. The mouth, savory, reveals spicy aromas of cinnamon and a loaf of bread. To be enjoyed now or rediscovered later, its freshness allows it to age for up to 12 years.
