Intense and clear ruby red colour. The nose is well balanced with elements of spice and black fruit developing. Sangiovese immediately emerges in all its glory, soft and velvety, with hints of ripe black cherries and a hint of cassis. The tannins are well blended, dense and fleshy. The finish is elegant and persistent. An excellent wine for aging.
A classic Sangiovese that combines finesse with intensity and that expresses the terroir from the Rufina area in Chianti.
The wine can last for many more years. Have tasted vintage 1991 in 2024, and it is still completely fresh.
