Domaine Duplessis' old vines of around 70 years have long roots that penetrate deep into the subsoil of the "Montée de Tonnerres" and restore the essence of the terroir: the rigor and finesse of the Kimmeridge limestone as well as the fullness and strength of the clay in a concentrated white wine that ranks among the best wines in the area.
After a few years of aging (5-10 years), the wine develops all the notes that characterize a great, classic Chablis: scent of the sea and sea animal shells, small mushrooms ( Mousseron ), yellow fruits, honey and mild spices.
