Our Saar Riesling feinherb comes from the first harvest at Altenberg in Oberemmel. The first grapes were carefully selected. After gentle pressing of whole bunches of grapes, the must, which was only slightly clarified by sedimentation, was spontaneously fermented for over three months in stainless steel tanks. The wine rested on the lees until shortly before bottling in mid-March.

It smells of peach, white roses and citrus. The taste is true to the wine itself and plays with acidity and a bit of residual sweetness. The lightness and freshness of Saar is the highest priority.
