Petershof- Oberemmel Altenberg Riesling Kabinett 2020

For our single-estate wine Oberemmel Altenberg Riesling Kabinett, the oldest vines were selected from our best parcel there and registered separately. These were planted around 1960. The 100% healthy, small, very ripe Riesling bunches were gently pressed as whole grapes. The must was then only slightly clarified by sedimentation and fermented spontaneously for almost 9 months in stainless steel tanks. Filtration and filling took place at the beginning of August 2020. Ripe grapefruit and gunpowder on the nose. Slender on the palate, yet incredible depth and precision. Fine and vital play with acidity and minerality.
